In order to better ensure the service life of the screw chiller and the actual effect of refrigeration to achieve better conditions, maintenance and maintenance work should be done regularly, and after the chiller unit operates for a period of time, it is inevitable that stains or other impurities will endanger the actual cooling effect. When purchasing a screw chiller, you can understand the future use process and maintenance with the manufacturer, so as to carry out daily correct maintenance of the chiller.

Maintenance of DIUM screw chiller: 

(1) The chilled water pump cannot operate when there is no water in the water tank.

(2) When the screw chiller is running, please pay attention to the pressure gauge display value, and the high pressure value does not exceed 20kgf/cm2, and the low pressure value is not less than 2.5kgf/cm2 as the judgment standard. The value displayed too high or too low indicates that the fault is a precursor or improper use, please check immediately or notify the manufacturer to deal with it.

 (3) When the chilled water temperature reaches the set temperature, the compressor will automatically stop running, which is a normal phenomenon.

(4) The condenser and evaporator of the screw chiller are usually cleaned after a period of use, and the impurities in the water circulation system will stay on the copper tube of the condenser, causing the copper tube wall to scale, resulting in poor heat dissipation of the condenser and high and low pressure failures. Therefore, regular cleaning is required. The pipes can be cleaned with a special pigging gun, or they can be cycled with a special cleaning agent, or filled with cooling water and replaced with the solution after 24 hours until cleaned.

The surface of the radiator of the air-cooled screw chiller is kept clean and well ventilated; The cooling water of the water-cooled chiller is kept clean and clean, there must be no debris in the cooling tower, and the cooling tower is cleaned regularly to ensure that the temperature and flow of the cooling water meet the requirements of use.

(5) If the screw chiller is stopped for a period of time, the pump blades may be solidified by dirt, and the fan blades on the back cover of the motor must be pulled with a screwdriver when starting the machine to avoid the pump blades getting stuck and burning the motor.

(6) If the screw chiller is not used for a long time, the refrigeration medium should be discharged cleanly. When the machine is out of use, but the temperature of the refrigeration medium is low, the refrigeration medium should be discharged clean to prevent the freezing medium from freezing and expanding in the system and damaging the unit.

(7) All electronic control components and protection devices of the screw chiller have passed the strict inspection of the manufacturer, and the user should not change or remove it by himself during inspection and maintenance, and the forced operation in the unprotected state will cause damage to the unit.

(8) The chiller is a highly professional mechanical equipment, which should be used and maintained by professional and technical personnel, and non-professional and technical personnel should not operate and repair at will to avoid danger.

(9) When the unit is not used for a long time, please turn off the total power supply of the equipment.
