●The water temperature of the general cooling tower is divided into ：

   high temperature tower、 medium temperature tower and normal temperature tower. 

 ●According to the current status of the installation location and the requirements for noise, the cooling tower selection includes: 

   cross-flow tower and counter-flow tower. 

● Select the amount of cooling water according to the cooling volume of the chiller：

    in principle, the amount of water in the cooling tower is slightly greater than the cooling volume of the chiller. 

● When choosing multiple water towers：

   try to choose the same type of cooling tower.

Secondly, the selection of cooling towers needs to pay attention to: 

1. The tower structure material of the cooling tower

    should be stable, durable, corrosion-resistant, and the assembly and coordination should be accurate. 
2. Uniform water distribution, less wall flow, reasonable selection of splash device, not easy to block. 

3. The type of water filling material of the cooling tower

   meets the requirements of water quality and water temperature. 

4. The fan matching 

   can ensure long-term normal operation, no vibration and abnormal noise, 

  and the blades have good water erosion resistance and sufficient strength. 

  The installation angle of the fan blades is adjustable, 

  but it is necessary to ensure that the angle is consistent 

 and the current of the motor does not exceed the rated current of the motor. 

5. Low power consumption, low cost, small and medium-sized steel skeleton glass cooling tower also requires light weight. 

6. The cooling tower should be arranged near heat sources, 

    waste gas and flue gas generation points, chemical stacking places and coal piles as much as possible. 

7. The distance between cooling towers or between towers and other buildings,

    in addition to considering the ventilation requirements of the tower, the mutual influence of the tower and the building, 

    should also consider the safety distance of building fire and explosion prevention and the construction and maintenance requirements of the cooling tower. 

8. The direction of the inlet pipe of the cooling tower can be rotated according to 90°, 180°, 270°. 

9. The material of the cooling tower can withstand a low temperature of -50 °C, 

    but it should be stated when ordering an area where the average temperature of the coldest month is lower than -10 °C, 

    so that anti-icing measures can be taken. The cost of cooling towers increased by about 3%. 

10. The turbidity of circulating water is not more than 50mg/l, and short-term not more than 100mg/l should not contain oil and mechanical impurities, and if necessary, algae killing and water 

      quality  stabilization measures need to be taken. 

11. The water distribution system is designed according to the nominal water volume, if the difference between the actual water volume and       the nominal water volume is ± more than 15%, 

     it should be  explained when ordering, so as to modify the design. 

12. During the storage and transportation of cooling tower parts, heavy objects shall not be pressed on them, shall not be exposed to the     sun, and pay attention to fire prevention. 

     During the installation,   transportation and maintenance of the cooling tower, open flames such as electricity and gas welding shall not be used, and firecrackers shall not be set off nearby. 

13. For the design of round tower and multiple towers, the net distance between the tower and the tower should be maintained not less than 0.5 times the diameter of the tower. 

      Cross-flow towers and counter-flow square towers can be arranged side by side. 

14. The water pump should be matched with the cooling tower to ensure the flow rate, head and other process requirements.
